West Coast Swing

Dance Lesson

West Coast Swing is a captivating partner dance that thrives on versatility, creativity, and connection. Originating from Lindy Hop and evolving over decades, West Coast Swing is known for its adaptability to various styles of music, from contemporary pop to blues and jazz. 

I instruct West Coast Swing to attune partners to each other's movements, energies, and emotions, creating a harmonious flow that mirrors life's interconnectedness. Through guided sessions, participants learn to harness the wisdom of their bodies to access and release deep-seated emotions. As partners surrender to the dance, they engage in a gentle exchange of energies, allowing them to release stress, promote relaxation, and calm the nervous system.

CONNECTION brings life! And movement is the bridge to connection. Through the incredible function of our bodies, movement has a natural healing capacity. We can restore a healthier, more joyful well-being through dance movement. While releasing hormones that help heal trauma and past wounds, dance provides a way to process and heal your body’s trauma and easily addresses the multi-level issue. I have created classes for Assisted Living programs, schools, and treatment centers. Fun and freeing movement-centered classes to promote connection, health, laughter, brain exercise, strengthen confidence, honesty, communication, and much more.

Join our monthly dance experience designed to help you tap into the transformative power of movement, music, and your body wisdom. Each dance explores a specific energy center of the body through a unique and dynamic dance sequence. You will engage in various movement practices, including flowing, rhythmic movements and energizing sequences that help activate and balance the body's energy centers.

Suitable for individuals of all experience levels, and no prior dance experience is necessary. Regularly engaging in this practice can cultivate greater balance and alignment in your body, mind, and spirit, unlocking your full potential for joy, creativity, and well-being.
